Even though Wendy & Dan planned their wedding in less than a month, it was one of my favorite weddings of 2012 & I’m so excited to share it today on my blog & 100 Layer Cake.  A marriage of two amazing people:  Wendy is a graphic designer specializing in lettering/typography and Dan is the assistant editor for one of our favorite shows, The Walking Dead!

From a BHLDN wedding dress & a head wreath of roses to beautiful lettering & an intimate dinner catered by Heirloom LA, you know Wendy & Dan have undeniable great taste. Not only that, it all took place at The Mountain Mermaid, an amazing & unique gem of an estate hidden up in the hills of LA.

Another gorgeous couple beautifully styled from the Montecito shoot! If you haven’t yet, see Merrill & Tim’s here!

You know that when a bride’s main concern on her wedding day is the fact that she forgot extra pants for her groom (in the case of pant-ripping from dancing too hard) … you have a couple who knows how to party (see: party bus photos). Justin + Rio are just that couple — with style + humor for days and ability to have a good time anywhere/anyday.  We loved all the thoughtful and lovely details in this wedding;  from the candy bar to the groomsmens’ socks or the florals to birdcage centerpieces, it was definitely an affair to remember. We hope you love it as much as we did!

Best. Kiss. Ever. When the pastor announced them husband and wife and gave Justin the thumbs up to kiss Rio, he walked briskly over to the guys who then began an assembly line of kiss preparation: chapstick, breath freshener, bowtie adjustment … all the way to one quick slap on the booty.

janet & jeff are seriously two of the nicest, kindest, fun-loving people i’ve met.   they were married at the beautiful altadena town & country club.

they had a downright awesome DJ, stunning views, & treated their guests to awesome liquid nitrogen-made ice cream from the folks over at à la minute. in conclusion, all the makings of a wonderful wedding! (thanks to my talented friend lynn chyi for assisting me!)
