Remember Diana and Danny from their lovely day-after session? Well, now you get to see just how amazing their actual wedding day was!  Their special day took place at the historic Craven’s Estate (now no longer available for weddings/events, so I feel extra blessed to have gotten the opportunity to shoot there!). Along with the beautiful architecture and grounds, everything else was so tastefully decorated. (It didn’t hurt that Danny and Diana are so stylish).

Thanks to my partner-in-crime and soon to be future husband for shooting with me!

sorry for the lack of posts, i promise it’s not for lack of activities on my part. it’s been downright crazy with weddings (most of all the planning of my own). thought i’d share some film snaps chronicling the past month or so (taken on my pentax). from the bay area to right around my hood, here’s a (not so organized) snippet of what i’ve been seeing in between work.

Rio and Justin are such a fun couple with great sense of style (and great taste in food)! Plus, when I heard they might bring their Vespa to our shoot (even though it didn’t work out) I knew they were a different brand of awesome. We decided to go the always fun “date” route and go do things Rio and Justin usually do on a date!

If you’re having a wedding across the country and don’t want to have a first-look, definitely consider having a day-after session instead of or in addition to your engagement session! That’s what Diana and Danny did, and they picked the most quaint, “small-town” place to do it — South Pasadena (one of my favorite places to walk around and grab a cup of coffee, by the way).

i just loved their coordinating hanboks (traditional korean dress) and the vibrant colors.

Nathan and Keziah are two of the most sweetest, gentle and genuinely kind people I’ve met, and these sentiments were affirmed over and over again by those involved with and the guests at their wedding.  Their wedding perfectly reflected the kind of people they are and the kind of marriage they will have. It was such a pleasure shooting their big day and seeing just the kind of impact they’ve had on their family and friends. i first met fei fei when we were coworkers at the same company where i was a graphic designer. she decided then that i would be shooting her and donald’s first-year anniversary … who knew that by the time it rolled around, it would be something much more: an addition to their happy family!
