It is such a joy when I get the opportunity to shoot for dear friends — and Christine & Jesse are no exception! Christine such a dear, loving/caring sister and friend and I am always encouraged when I talk to her. (Jesse, you are a lucky man!) I’m so glad these two found each other and am looking forward to their wedding this winter!

Although I am a LA native and the OC is only a stone’s throw away, I’m ashamed to say I’ve never been to Newport Beach! When Christine brought up the idea of doing their session there,  Tommy & I were excited. Such a fun day and beautiful weather!  I’m in love with how their session turned out and I hope you love it too.

I love photographing weddings of high school sweethearts. There is so much built up anticipation, so much joy, such a sense of family and friends having been on a long journey with the couple … which has finally come to fruition! Jenny and Josh were no different: their family and friends joined them on a beautiful spring day to see these two people so in love finally get married at the beautiful Brookside Equestrian Center.

We absolutely loved shooting their wedding, and one of our favorite details was the female mariachi band they had come play at the ceremony! (Never thought I liked mariachi music until I heard them. They were amazing by the way).

it’s been so busy the past month or so that i haven’t been able to share about some of the awesome features that have come my way. i feel so very blessed to be a part of each of these blogs/publications, please check it out and comment!
